soontsUpgraded some components in my PC.
It wasn’t my idea. It started with the display, my 10 years old Lenovo L220x worked great but for one of my clients I needed a 4K one, so I’ve replaced that with HP Envy 27S.
Immediately discovered my old NV 960 GPU aint’t no longer OK, replaced with 1080ti.
But once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can (c)
So I’ve replaced the CPU with Xeon E3-1230 v3.
Works OK so far.
